D4i Novo

Description

A dive computer worn every day of a trip gets checked far more often than one that lives in the kit bag, and the D4i Novo is sized to stay on the wrist: 48.6 millimetres across, 16 thick and 92 grams, under a stainless steel bezel and mineral crystal lens. Underwater it runs Suunto RGBM to 100 metres on air or nitrox up to 50 per cent oxygen, and takes optional wireless air integration that shows cylinder pressure and remaining air time. On a liveaboard week it doubles as the watch for briefings and meal times, with a daily alarm and dual time. On a freediving session the apnea timer, O2 and CO2 tables and depth notifications take over. Between dives the built-in planner works out the next no-decompression limit on the surface. It has no compass, and air integration needs the Suunto Wireless Tank Pressure Transmitter, not the Tank POD. It suits a diver who wants one watch-sized computer for scuba and breath-hold.
