Tern TX

Description

The compromise in a watch sized dive computer has always been what gets left out, and the Tern TX puts back the two things that matter most: gas pressure and a compass. It links up to four Shearwater transmitters and carries a 3 axis tilt compensated compass in a 50 millimetre case weighing 100 grams. On a reef dive the diver reads pressure, depth and no decompression time on one 360 by 360 AMOLED instead of chasing a console. On a navigation exercise the compass runs in every mode. On a freediving session the dedicated mode takes configurable sampling rates and depth alarms, so the same watch covers a morning of breath hold and an afternoon on a cylinder. Avelo mode is available by unlock code. It suits a diver who wants a full featured computer that still reads as a watch out of the water, and the Swift Transmitter is the piece that switches the integration on.
