Description

Most dive computers ask a diver to choose between a screen that is readable and a unit that is small enough to wear. The i770R settles that with a full colour TFT display in a wrist-sized case, bright enough to read a decompression schedule at depth in green water without hunting for a backlight button. It runs the Z+ algorithm with oxygen from 21 to 100 per cent and PO2 adjustable between 1.1 and 1.6, which covers recreational diving and the early stages of technical training on one computer. A 3D digital compass takes another instrument off the console. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery means no battery kit to order before a trip and no flooding risk from a badly seated battery hatch. Air integration is available by adding a transmitter separately. It suits a diver who wants a colour screen and will decide about air integration later.
