Zen Pro Octopus

Description

Emergency use is precisely when an octopus is breathed hardest, and hard breathing in cold water is what causes a second stage to ice up. The Zen Pro Octo is designed against that specific sequence: a thermoconductive polymer case transfers warmth from the surrounding water and from the diver's own breath into the internal components, resisting ice building up inside exactly when demand is highest. Beyond the cold-water case it breathes the same as the Zen Pro second stage, so a diver taking it is not handed something inferior, and an adjustable Venturi lets airflow be tuned to reduce free-flows at the surface and during a dive. Radial pressure openings spread water pressure evenly across the diaphragm, cutting free-flow risk further in current. It is high-visibility yellow with a large purge button. It suits a diver who needs an octopus that will work in cold water.
