Description

An 85 degree beam is wide enough to light what a camera sees without the hot centre a spot leaves in the middle of a frame, which is what separates this from the narrow-beam AL1800NP that shares its body. Output runs 1800 lumens for 2 hours, 900 for 4, 450 for 8 and 180 for 20, from an XML LED at 6500K cool white, drawing on a rechargeable 26650 cell. Twenty hours on the lowest level means it doubles as a backup rather than being a single-purpose video light. It measures 35.5 mm across and 129 millimetres long, weighs 228 grams with the cell fitted and sits 120 grams negative, in a housing tested to 100 metres. Offered in black and red.
