Description

The focusable head is the whole argument for this light: one twist takes the beam from 7 degrees to 37, so a diver signalling across a wreck and then lighting its interior does not have to carry two torches to do it. Output is 1800 lumens for 1 hour 30, 900 for 3 hours, 450 for 6 and 180 for 15, drawn from a rechargeable 26650 cell, with the XML LED running 6500K cool white. It measures 35.5 mm across and 169.3 millimetres long, weighs 301 grams with the cell in and sits 146 grams negative, in an anodised aluminium alloy housing tested to 100 metres. Fifteen hours on the lowest setting is enough that the same light doubles as a backup. That answers a wreck penetration, a night dive and a search. It suits a diver who wants spot and flood from a single torch.
