Big Blue TL4000P EOS Sidemount Canister Light

Description

Sidemount divers cannot use a back-plate canister, because the space it would occupy is already taken by cylinders. This is the same TL4000P canister light rigged for that configuration, with the canister carried at the side rather than on the back. The light itself is unchanged: 4000 lumens for 12 hours, 2000 for 24, 1000 for 48 and 400 for 120, from three XML LEDs on a 10 degree beam at 6500K. The head weighs 439 grams and measures 63 mm across, joined to a 2300 gram canister by a 1.3 metre cable, which is what keeps the mass off the hand across a dive measured in hours rather than minutes. It is anodised aluminium alloy tested to 150 metres, offered in black, blue or pink. It suits a sidemount cave or wreck diver needing canister duration.
