Big Blue Six Inch Flexi Arm with Hot Shoe and Ball Adapter

Description

Not every camera goes on a tray. A compact housing or an action camera often has nothing more than a cold shoe on top, and a rigid arm system has nowhere to start from. This arm solves that: one end is a hot shoe fitting that clamps into the shoe already on the housing, the other is a standard one inch ball that any Big Blue or third-party clamp will close on. Between them is six inches of flexible arm, which bends and holds rather than pivoting at fixed joints, so the light is aimed by hand and stays where it is put with no clamp to loosen and retighten. A version ending in a YS fitting covers housings built around the Sea and Sea standard instead. That answers a compact housing, an action camera and a rig with no tray. It suits a photographer mounting a light from a hot shoe.
