Big Blue Nine Inch Float Arm

Description

Housings and video lights are both negative, and once two of them are bolted to a tray the whole assembly wants to go to the bottom while the diver carrying it wants to look at something else. A float arm is a sealed buoyant section that goes into the arm system in place of a solid one, cancelling part of that weight so the rig can be aimed with a finger and set down without dropping. Nine inches is the standard length, adding useful lift without the bulk and drag of the thirteen inch version, and a jumbo version of the same length carries more volume for rigs that need more. It closes on standard one inch balls at both ends, so it drops into an existing arm system. That answers a twin-light rig, a long dive and a heavy housing. It suits a photographer whose rig is pulling on the wrists.
