Description

Intermediate pressure drifts over a season, and on most regulators correcting it means stripping the first stage. Cressi's AC2 carries an external IP adjustment system unique to them, which lets a service centre fine-tune intermediate pressure with the regulator still attached to a cylinder. For a dive school that is the difference between a quick fix on the bench and a unit out of service for a week. The first stage itself is a straightforward unbalanced piston rated for water above 10 degrees, easy to service and carrying a single HP port, which is entirely adequate for a diver not running an air-integrated computer. It is a no-frills, dependable breathing experience built for high-frequency recreational diving rather than for specification sheets. It suits a dive centre or club, or a diver who wants simple equipment that is cheap to keep serviced.
