ACTION REEL 75M
The H2O Action Reel holds 75 m of line and is used for deploying a delayed surface marker buoy or for running a line on a dive. Seventy-five metres is the working length for recreational SMB deployment, deep enough for most sport profiles without the bulk of a technical reel.
A reel rather than a spool matters when line has to be recovered under tension, because the handle and ratchet do the work instead of the fingers. It clips to a BCD D-ring when not in use.
