Description

Most Apeks first stages carry one high pressure port, which forces a choice between a mechanical gauge and a wireless transmitter. This adaptor removes that choice by splitting the single port into two. On a computer equipped rig it runs a transmitter for the wrist while a brass and glass gauge stays as the mechanical backup, which is what a careful technical diver wants. On a twinset it adds a second reading without moving to a different first stage. On a rig being reconfigured it is far cheaper than replacing a first stage for the sake of one port, which is the alternative. It is finished in bright chrome to match the first stage rather than standing out. Stock is limited to what remains. It suits a diver who wants both a transmitter and a mechanical gauge on one first stage.
