Amara Gloves 2mm

Description

Cold, cut or blistered hands end more shore dives than most divers admit, and the ADI Amara 2mm glove guards against all three without costing much feel. The shell is 2mm neoprene, with Amara synthetic leather covering the palm, fingers and back of the hand, and an anti-slip PVC layer on the palm and fingers for grip. On a rocky shore entry, that palm takes the scrapes from rock and barnacles instead of the skin. On a boat dive, it holds a wet ladder rail or mooring line securely when there is a swell running. In temperate water it adds a little warmth while still leaving enough dexterity to work a camera, a reel or an inflator button. A wide elastic hook-and-loop strap closes the wrist, so the glove stays put and lets less water flush through. They suit a diver who wants tough, grippy hands on shore and boat dives in mild to cool water.
