Description

Artificial light in a wide-angle shot is obvious for one reason: it is the wrong colour for the water it is in. The foreground comes back warm, the background stays blue, and the boundary between them reads as a torch beam rather than as daylight. An ambient filter closes that gap by shifting the output towards ambient colour so the lit part of the frame belongs to the same scene as the unlit part. This is the full blue version, for deeper or darker water where the light blue would undercorrect. It is the 63 millimetre size, fitting the CB7200P, CB7200PB, CB11000P, CB11000PBRC, VTL9000P, VTL9000PB, VTL9000P Max, VTL11000P and VTL13500P Max. That answers deep wide-angle video and a reef with open water behind it. It suits a videographer matching a light to deep blue conditions.
