Blue Ambient Filter, 85 mm

Description

The biggest heads in the range light the largest scenes, and a large scene is exactly where mismatched colour shows most: a warm foreground against a blue distance, with a visible boundary running through the frame. An ambient filter shifts the light towards the colour of the surrounding water so the lit area reads as part of the scene rather than as a torch pointed at it. This is the full blue version, for deeper and darker conditions where the milder light blue would leave the foreground looking artificially warm. It is the 85 millimetre size, fitting the VL36000P, VL36000PBRC and CB33000P. The light blue version of the same diameter covers clearer water. That answers deep wide-angle video, a large wreck subject and open water. It suits a videographer matching a large light to deep blue conditions.
