Description

Five degrees is unusually tight, and that is the whole argument for this light. Most torches sold as narrow beams open to ten or fifteen; this one concentrates its 1300 lumens into a cone small enough to reach the far wall of a swim-through or pick a subject out of green water at a distance where a wide beam has already given up. It is also what makes it readable as a signal. Four power levels run from two hours at full output to twenty hours at 130 lumens, which turns the same torch into a backup light for a whole week of diving. Colour temperature is 6500K cool white from an XML LED, the housing is anodised aluminium alloy tested to one hundred and fifty metres, and it weighs 168 grams with the battery. It suits a diver who needs reach rather than coverage.
