Big Blue AL1300NP Narrow Beam Light Head

Description

A light head is bought for one of two reasons, and both are practical rather than aspirational: something went wrong with the original, or a spare is wanted in the kit box for the dive where the first one fails. This is the AL1300NP head assembly on its own, the LED, optics, electronics and switch in a plain box, with no battery, charger, lanyard or dry bag, which is why it costs a fraction of the complete light. The beam is narrow, throwing a concentrated cone that reaches into a wreck or along a wall further than a wide beam manages at the same output, and the colour temperature is 6500K cool white. The housing is anodised aluminium alloy and the assembly is tested to one hundred metres. That answers a flooded head, a hard-worn rental light and a spares kit. It suits a diver keeping an AL1300NP running.
