Description

A focus light left burning while a still is taken contaminates the exposure, casting its own colour into a frame the strobes were supposed to light. Auto flash off removes the problem by sensing the strobe and dropping the beam for the instant of the shot, then bringing it straight back, so nothing has to be switched by hand between frames. The same head carries a red LED, which is the mode for approaching skittish subjects and for keeping dark adaptation on a night dive. This is the AL1300RAFO head assembly on its own in a plain box, with no battery, charger or accessories, bought as a repair or a spare rather than a second complete light.
