AL1300WP Tail Switch with Protective Case

Description

The tail switch is the reason to choose this over the standard AL1300WP: it sits under the thumb when the torch is on a Goodman handle, so power levels change by feel through a five millimetre glove without the beam leaving the subject. The beam is 1300 lumens across eighty five degrees, the general purpose width that lights a reef face evenly rather than putting a bright disc in the middle of it. The package adds a hard case holding the light with its removable red and yellow filters, mounting clip, charger and spares, measuring 388 by 272 by 168 millimetres inside and 415 by 335 by 180 outside. What the case protects is the switch, the charge port and the o-ring seat, which fail quietly in a kit bag. It suits a diver travelling with a tail-switch wide beam light.
