Description

Video is the argument for one hundred and twenty degrees. A camera sees a rectangle, and a beam narrower than that rectangle puts a bright circle in the centre of every clip with the corners falling into darkness, which no amount of grading afterwards fixes convincingly. An extra wide beam fills the frame instead, which is why this version of the 1300 sits on camera trays rather than in hands. Output runs from 1300 lumens at level IV down to 130 at level I, two hours at full power and twenty at the lowest. The housing is anodised aluminium alloy, 35.5 by 122.1 millimetres, tested to one hundred metres. A camera mounting clip, a yellow filter and a red filter come in the box, which covers backscatter and shy subjects without a second purchase. It suits a videographer lighting a wide frame evenly.
