Description
Fluorescence diving normally means a blue filter slid over the front of a light, which is one more part to lose, one more thing to fit in the dark and one more surface to flood behind. A built-in blue LED removes all three: the excitation source sits inside the head and switches on like any other mode. This is the head assembly for the Black Molly VIIB, in a plain box with no battery, charger or accessories, bought to repair a damaged head or to keep as a spare. The white beam is 2600 lumens of cool white at 6500K across one hundred and twenty degrees, wide enough to fill a video frame. The housing is anodised aluminium alloy, tested to one hundred metres. The plain AL2900XWP head covers divers with no interest in fluorescence. It suits a diver keeping a Black Molly VIIB running.
