Description

Eight degrees out of a torch this size is unusual, and it is what makes this a backup worth having rather than a token one. Four hundred and fifty lumens spread wide would light very little; concentrated into a cone that tight it reaches far enough to finish a dive on properly, and it is readable as a signal across a channel, which a wide beam of the same output is not. The switch sits at the tail, where the thumb already rests, so it works through a five millimetre glove without breaking grip. The source is a Cree LED running up to four hours. A wide beam version covers divers who want coverage from their backup, and a camo finish is also listed. That answers a backup light, a reel dive and a pocket torch that has to matter.
