Description

The Aladin 100 keeps a dive computer simple. A 2.4 inch high-contrast display shows depth, time and no-stop time in large numbers, with one toggle field you can switch between temperature, maximum depth, MB level, oxygen percentage and a timer. Two buttons and a full-text menu mean there are no acronyms to learn, and the warnings are written out in plain words. It runs the Predictive Bühlmann ZH-L16 ADT MB algorithm in scuba and gauge modes, handles nitrox up to 50 percent oxygen, and is rated to 80 metres. The battery is a standard AA in a watertight compartment, good for more than 300 hours of diving with the backlight on, so there is nothing to charge. The unit wakes itself in dive mode when it gets wet, and Bluetooth sends your dives to LogTRAK 2.0. A quick-adjust bungee strap fits over a wetsuit or a bare wrist. It suits a first computer, a rental or a training unit.
