VX1 AND RK3 HD DIVE SET - GREY

Description

Feet that float are the most common trim fault in a drysuit, and a negatively buoyant fin fixes it more cheaply than ankle weights. This set pairs a dark grey VX1 with RK3 HD fins in the same finish. The HD compound is denser than the standard RK3, which makes the blade stiffer and sinks it. The mask is frameless for low internal volume, so clearing costs one breath. On a cold water shore dive the heavier blade holds the feet down where a floaty fin lifts them. On a wreck the stiffer blade backs up properly. On a silty bottom the short blade lets a diver frog kick without stirring it. It suits a drysuit diver fixing trim, and the fin runs small through extra large.
