VX1 UV AND RK3 DIVE SET - BLACK

Description

Glare off a white sand bottom in three metres of water washes out a clear lens completely, and that is where the mirrored UV lens earns its place. This set pairs the UV lensed VX1 with standard RK3 fins in black. The mask is frameless, so internal volume stays low and it clears on one breath. The RK3 is the lighter compound of the two, which suits wetsuit diving. On a shallow tropical reef the UV coating cuts the glare that makes a clear lens useless. On a surface interval it doubles as sunglasses on the forehead. On a deeper dive the coating costs a little light, which is the honest trade. It suits a diver working mostly in bright shallow water, and the clear lens version is the better pick for depth or low visibility.
