APEKS VX2 AND RK3 HD DIVE SET - BLACK

Description

A mask and a pair of fins bought separately usually end up mismatched in intent, a warm water mask paired with a fin meant for a drysuit, and this set removes that by pairing two pieces built for the same diver. The VX2 carries a stainless steel outer frame and a carbon fibre filled inner frame, with 13 percent more field of vision than the VX1. The RK3 HD is moulded in a denser compound than the standard RK3, which makes it stiffer and negatively buoyant. On a cold water shore dive in a drysuit the heavier fin helps hold trim where a floaty blade lifts the feet. On a wreck or cave dive the short vented blade turns the diver on the spot and backs up cleanly. On a boat day the mask skirt swaps between matt and gloss silicone areas to seal on a cold face. It suits a technical or drysuit diver buying both at once, and the fin size runs small through extra large.
