WTX Harness (Previous Model)

Description

A harness that only works one way holds a diver back on the day their diving changes, and the WTX was designed around that problem. This is the earlier version of the Apeks WTX harness, built in 1000D Armorshield Cordura and offered here in Extra Large only. It mounts straight onto a single cylinder with two nylon cylinder bands for a recreational rig, and it accepts an Apeks backplate when the load becomes twin steel cylinders. For a cave or wreck dive the side D-rings carry canister lights and argon bottles, while a travelling diver can strip hardware off the open shoulders to save weight. Stainless triloaders spread the load across back, waist and shoulders, and grommet settings on the waistband take the SureLock weight system. The current WTX harness, in ballistic nylon, is listed separately in every size. It suits a larger diver who wants a modular harness that can grow with their diving.
