Description

Children stop wearing goggles that press into the eye sockets or need an adult to adjust, and the Aquasphere Kayenne Junior is designed around both complaints. It takes the oversized lens of the adult Kayenne, widening vision to 180 degrees, and pairs it with a soft Softeril skirt and a stabilising nose bridge sized for faces from about six years old. The side buckles adjust with one touch, even while the goggles are on. At weekly swimming lessons indoors, the clear lens passes 92% of the light. For a squad swimmer training in a dim hall, blue tinted at 58% keeps visual comfort, and on a summer day at an outdoor pool the smoke lens at 27% cuts the brightness. The lenses are anti-scratch, which helps with kit bag abuse. It suits a child from six into the early teens who swims regularly and has outgrown toddler goggles.
