Description

Long fins make a kick set feel easy and teach a slow, lazy tempo; the Microfin is built the other way round. Aquasphere cut the blade short and calibrated it to allow a consistent kick tempo with proper technique, so the legs work against more water without the stroke rate collapsing, which targets the areas competitive swimmers need to strengthen. A closed heel foot pocket in durable TPR polymer transfers power efficiently from foot to fin, and a rigid sole helps prevent cramping. Anti-slip rubber pads grip the wall on flip turns and give footing on a wet pool deck. In a club session that means sprint repeats that hold race tempo, for a triathlete a winter of leg strength work, and for a masters swimmer an easy aerobic set with added resistance. Sizes run from XS, EU 36 to 37, to XL, EU 44 to 45. It suits a pool swimmer who trains the kick with a purpose.
