Description

The first open water swim or first triathlon is daunting enough without a goggle that leaks or narrows the view. The Aquasphere Vista XP is the straightforward mask for that step, with a single Plexisol lens giving 180 degrees of distortion free vision, an ultra soft Softeril skirt for a comfortable seal and a Quick Fit buckle that goes on in seconds. For a beginner's sea swim on a cloudy morning, the clear lens passes 92% of the light. At a first sprint triathlon in a sunny dam, the smoke lens at 27% takes the edge off the glare. Back in the pool for fitness sessions, the same mask keeps the wide view and soft fit. It is a swimming mask for the surface rather than a snorkelling or dive mask. It suits a swimmer taking up open water or triathlon who wants a simple, quality mask to start with.
