Description

Buoyancy that shifts around the torso every time the diver rolls is the ordinary jacket BCD's weakness. A donut air cell answers it by letting air migrate evenly, which is why the Aquawing Plus holds trim precisely and sits stable rather than being wrestled into position. It is a one size BCD, fitted through the Modular Adjustment System: a continuous weave harness where tightening the waist straps pulls the shoulders in, and releasing the waist buckle loosens them in seconds, giving a range wide enough to cover a drysuit in winter and a t-shirt in summer. Integrated weight pockets attach to a lightweight anodised aluminium back plate, and further pockets on the cylinder band allow the trim to be tuned. A crotch strap stops the rig riding up. An optional 2.5 kg back plate bar is available separately. It suits a diver who wants precise trim from one BCD across every exposure suit they own.
