Archon Z11 Butterfly Triple Clamp

Description

A camera or video light rig only bends where its clamps allow, and the Archon Z11 Butterfly Triple Clamp gives a single joint three places to grip instead of two. Each hole takes a 25 mm (1 inch) ball, the size used on Archon's AR series arms and on most ball-mount accessories, so it joins two ball ends while leaving a third free. On a GoPro or compact tray it links two arm sections and still holds a small focus light or float off the spare hole. On a twin-light video rig it lets a second torch share an arm without adding another segment. A butterfly-style knob tightens all three holes at once and is easy to turn in gloves, so the rig can be reshaped between dives or loosened to fold flat for travel. Archon lists the Z11 for use with a range of ball joints and its own extension arms. It suits an underwater photographer or videographer building or tidying a ball-arm lighting rig.
