Description

Avelo diving replaces the buoyancy swing of a conventional cylinder with a hydrotank the diver stays neutral in, and a computer that does not understand the system cannot show what is happening to the tank. This code enables Avelo mode on the computer already owned. On an Avelo course it gives the student the readouts the instructor is teaching from. On a photography dive, where the whole point of the system is holding position without touching a wing, the computer tracks the tank alongside depth and time. On a shore dive where the alternative is carrying a second device, one computer covers both kinds of diving. It applies to the Tern TX, Teric, Peregrine TX, Perdix 2 and Perdix 3, and is delivered as a code rather than hardware. It suits a diver moving into the Avelo system who wants to keep the computer they already dive.
