Backscatter FLIP 55 mm Threaded DIVE Filter

Description

Some GoPro rigs carry a 55 mm threaded mount rather than relying on a flip frame alone, and the Backscatter FLIP 55 mm Threaded DIVE Filter brings red colour correction to that set-up. The DIVE formula is Backscatter's all-round blue-water filter, tuned for about 8 to 24 m and still better than no filter a little shallower or deeper. On a reef dive in clear blue water it pulls reds and oranges back into coral and fish that would otherwise come out flat and blue. The filter screws into the 55 mm threaded mount offered for FLIP frames, the same thread that carries Backscatter's close-up lenses and polarisers, so it fits neatly into a rig that already uses 55 mm accessories. For the depths either side, Backscatter makes SHALLOW and DEEP formulas as well. It is listed for GoPro HERO3 to HERO10 set-ups.
