Backscatter Wide Double Handle Tray for GoPro

Description

A bare GoPro is hard to hold steady underwater, and the Backscatter Wide Double Handle Tray gives it two padded grips and a wide base so the footage stops shaking with every fin kick. This version comes set up for GoPro, with a machined all-aluminium GoPro mount that has an anti-rotation pad, so the camera stays pointed where it was set. The wide platform spreads the grip for steadier pans along a reef, and the handle tops accept 1 inch ball adapters for lights or arms, sold separately. Adding Backscatter's optional Arch gives the rig five more mount points for lights or a wet-lens caddy, and it doubles as a grab handle. A threaded tripod hole under the tray lets the same rig sit on a tripod, and a lanyard hole keeps it clipped to the diver. The tray weighs 262 g on land and about 100 g in water. It suits a GoPro diver building a first proper video rig with room to add lights later.
