BALLISTIC NYLON CARRYING CASE

Description

Dive computers are rarely damaged in the water. They are damaged in a dive bag, wedged against a regulator first stage or a cylinder valve on the drive home, and this padded ballistic nylon case is the cheapest way to stop it. It swallows a Teric, Perdix, Petrel, Peregrine or Tern with the strap still fitted. On a flight it goes in hand luggage where a hard case would eat the allowance. On a boat day it keeps the computer dry and out of the shared crate between dives. On a long shore walk it clips into a pocket rather than swinging off a wrist. The shell is ballistic nylon over foam padding with a zip closure, so grit stays outside and the lens has something soft against it. It suits any Shearwater owner who moves the computer between home, car and boat, and it holds a spare strap alongside.
