Aqualung BC Band Extender w/Pocket

Description

A BCD that fitted perfectly over a 3 mm suit will not close over a 7 mm one, and a drysuit adds more again. Buying a second BCD for winter is one answer and an expensive one. A band extender is the other: it adds length to the waistband so the same rig closes comfortably over thicker exposure protection, and comes off again when the suit does. This one carries a pocket as well, which converts the extra length into useful storage for a spool, a torch or wetnotes rather than leaving a plain strap. It mounts using built-in rapid clips or to the knife grommets found on any Aqua Lung BCD, with the hardware included, so it does not require a specific model. That answers a diver moving into a drysuit, a winter season in a thicker suit, and a BCD that has become tight. It suits a diver who needs more waistband rather than a bigger BCD.
