Description

The Black Molly lights run a larger cell than the 1300 series, and the two are not interchangeable, which is worth knowing before ordering a spare that will not fit. This is the lithium-ion rechargeable 26650 cell for that range: the AL2000XWP Tri Color Black Molly VI, the AL2900XWP Black Molly VII and the AL2900XWPB Black Molly VIIB. The larger format is what gives those lights their burn time at the wide beam angles they run, and carrying a charged spare is the standard answer to a second dive in a day, since swapping a cell takes seconds where charging one takes hours. It is a single cell rather than a sealed pack, so it goes in at the surface without tools. A matching charger is sold separately. It suits an owner of a Black Molly VI, VII or VIIB who dives more than once between charges.
