Description

Scaling a men's pattern down does not produce a jacket that sits square on a smaller frame. This one is cut female from the start, and the Y-Fit shoulder design follows the torso so the straps clear the chest instead of cutting across it, with a stainless steel triangular ring at the centre of the Y spreading load evenly even head down. The wraparound bladder holds a cradle shape at full inflation rather than pushing the diver forward, so the surface float is upright, which counts during a long wait for a boat. Construction is 420 denier nylon. The 2023 revision brought larger zipped cargo pockets, a redesigned integrated weight system sitting the pouches over those pockets, and smaller backpack padding to cut unwanted buoyancy. Rear trim pockets, an adjustable cummerbund, soft neoprene neck padding and a Super Cinch tank buckle finish the harness. Quick-release pouches remove the need for a weight belt. It suits a woman wanting a jacket BCD cut to her own shape.
