Bennett Self-Levelling Trim Tabs

Description

These self-levelling trim tabs are a simple, durable and affordable trimming solution for smaller boats. They need no power, pump or control: the actuators and tabs are mounted on the transom and nothing has to be done inside the boat, so installation is quick and easy. Three mounting options make it easy to change the lift. The tabs help a boat plane at lower speeds, improve the hole shot, eliminate porpoising and chine walking, and reduce engine labouring, which also improves fuel efficiency. They come in two sizes. The 152 x 203 mm tabs are recommended for boats up to about 4.9 m, and the 254 x 254 mm tabs for boats of about 5.2 to 6.1 m. They suit an owner of a small powerboat who wants a better ride and lower fuel use without the cost of a powered hydraulic system.
