Bezel G2

Description

Every G2 on a busy charter is the same black computer, and a coloured ring is the quickest way to pick one out of a rinse tank. Dive centres get the benefit in reverse, matching a computer back to the diver who logged the profile on it. This is that ring, the replaceable bezel framing the Galileo 2 face, supplied in turquoise and yellow. Fitting is a dry-land job on a bench and changes nothing electrical inside the computer, which means a scuffed ring can be swapped rather than lived with and a well-used unit keeps looking maintained. The ring frames a 2.2 inch full-colour TFT screen running 320 by 240 pixels in a case rated to 120 metres. SCUBAPRO publish no material figure for the ring, so none is quoted here. It is supplied on its own, with computer, strap and screen protector all separate items, and it fits the Galileo 2 alone. It suits a G2 owner marking one unit out from the rest.
