Description

This 12 V DC plug is made for wet environments and constant vibration, which is what a boat offers. A moisture-proof sealing ring around the shaft keeps spray out and helps the plug seat firmly in the outlet. A twist-lock system holds the plug securely in the socket, so vibration does not shake it loose. A built-in 10 A fuse protects the circuit, and an on indicator LED shows that power is present. Internal strain relief and a cord seal protect the cable entry, and all current-carrying parts are nickel-plated copper alloy, with large contact surfaces for a good electrical connection. The plug is rated to a maximum of 12 V DC and weighs about 0.04 kg. It suits boat owners powering a phone charger, a GPS or a handheld spotlight from a 12 V outlet on a console, panel or surface.
