Description

A glossy mask frame throws a flash of light with every turn of the head, which is enough to move a fish that would otherwise have stayed. The Calibro is finished matte throughout for that reason, with its components colour-matched so nothing on the mask reflects. Underneath, it uses Cressi's Integrated Dual Frame construction, which merges frame and skirt so the lens sits unusually close to the face: that is what produces both the wide field of view and the low internal volume, and it keeps the profile compact and hydrodynamic. The buckles attach to the rigid part of the skirt through a solid but flexible rubber mount, so the strap can be adjusted without shifting the mask on the face. It suits a photographer, a spearfisher or a freediver who wants a low volume mask that does not announce itself.
