XL Camera Tray

Description

Width is the only thing an XL tray is for. A large housing with a dome port needs its lights pushed further outboard than a standard tray allows, because a light close to the lens throws its beam straight through the particles in the water directly ahead of the port and comes back as the white specks that ruin otherwise good footage. Moving the mounts out lets the beams cross in front of the camera instead, lighting the subject without lighting the water between. This tray does that for housed mirrorless and SLR bodies, with mounting points at both ends for arms and a fitting underneath for a handle or a tripod plate. The Large tray covers smaller housings, and a version with flexi arms fitted is also listed. It suits a photographer running a housed body with a dome port.
