Description

On a canister light the pack lives inside the canister on the harness, which means a spare is carried rather than fitted, and a technical diver planning two long dives needs one. This is the lithium-ion rechargeable cell for Big Blue's EO canister system, fitting the TL4000P in EOS and EOD backmount and sidemount configurations and the VTL7000P Max in the same. Those are the lights built for cave, wreck and decompression work, where the dive outlasts anything a handheld will do, so the ability to swap a pack between dives rather than wait several hours on a charger is what makes a two-dive day possible at all. It is supplied as a sealed assembly rather than loose cells. A matching EO canister charger is sold separately, and it is specific to this system. It suits a TL4000P or VTL7000P Max canister owner diving twice in a day.
