Description

A dive computer with a scratched screen is harder to read at depth, and the damage almost never happens in the water. It happens in transit, when the watch shares a bag with a torch, a reel and a handful of bolt snaps. This case gives the Descent X30 and Descent X50i somewhere of their own to sit, whether that is a checked bag on the way to a liveaboard, a car boot between shore dives, or a shelf at home over a winter when the computer is not being used. It ships as standard with a new Descent X50i, so the loose case is really for X30 owners and for anyone wanting a second one to leave permanently in a dive bag. Garmin publish no dimensions or material specification for it. It suits a diver who has just spent a great deal on a large-screen computer and would rather it stayed unmarked.
