Description

Most dive computers capable of two Nitrox mixes look like dive computers, which rules them out of everyday wear. The Cartesio is watch-sized with a metal bezel and still carries four modes, Air, Nitrox, Gauge and Free, with support for two Nitrox mixes for a diver moving towards technical diving. Underneath the styling the specification is serious: a 5 second sampling rate feeding the Cressi RGBM algorithm for decompression across repetitive and multi-day dives, an adaptable deep stop and a PPO2 setting adjustable from 1.2 to 1.6 for control over oxygen exposure. The display is high contrast and backlit, behind scratch-resistant mineral glass in a heavy-duty case with stainless steel buttons. That answers a working week, a Nitrox holiday and a freediving session, on one instrument. It suits a diver who wants a two-gas computer they can also wear to the office.
