Description

A light mounted on a camera arm sits out of reach once the rig is assembled, and reaching across to change its output means breaking the shot. This is the CB16500P with a remote control port fitted, so the level is changed from behind the camera, plus a blue mode for fluorescence work. The COB LED runs 16,500 lumens across a 160 degree beam at 5000K warm white, which is closer to what a camera expects than the cool white used elsewhere and leaves less to correct, with six XPE red LEDs for approaching shy subjects. Burn times are 1 hour 30, 3 hours and 6 hours across the published levels, from a seven-cell 18650 pack. It weighs 787 grams with the pack fitted, sits 304 grams negative, and measures 70 mm across and 142.5 millimetres long, tested to 100 metres. A lantern handle and hard case ship in the box. It suits a videographer running lights from behind the camera.
