Big Blue CB4000P Video Light Head

Description

The CB series uses a COB LED rather than an array of separate emitters, and the practical consequence is a single continuous source instead of several overlapping ones, so the beam has no hot spots or multiple shadow edges to clean up afterwards. This is the CB4000P head assembly on its own, in a plain box with no battery, charger or accessories, bought to repair a damaged head or to hold as a spare against a shoot that cannot be abandoned. The beam is a full one hundred and twenty degrees, wide enough to fill a rectilinear frame corner to corner, and the colour temperature is 5000K warm white, which sits closer to daylight than a cool white source and needs less correction on skin tones and reef colour. The housing is tested to one hundred metres. That answers wide-angle video, a shoot with no backup and a flooded head. It suits a videographer keeping a CB4000P running.
