The COB LED, the optics, the switch and the sealed electronics behind them are the handled, electrically live parts, and when one of them goes the repair is a head swap rather than a new light, at a fraction of the cost and keeping the battery, charger and mounting already owned in service. This is that assembly for the CB7200P, supplied on its own in a plain box. The other reason to own one is insurance on a shoot that cannot be rescheduled, where a failure otherwise means a wasted trip. The CB7200PB head covers divers who also want the built-in blue for fluorescence work. It suits a videographer keeping a CB7200P running.
